Through these works, I aim to depict my struggle to find stability, adapt to new surroundings, or the longing for a sense of rootedness and connection to a place as I navigated significant changes and transitions in my life. The use of hermit crabs as metaphors within this context symbolizes the constant search for a new dwelling, the vulnerability that comes with displacement, and the transformative potential that arises from embracing change.
